SPA 7 Youth Conference
In partnership with SPIRITT and Rio Hondo College, the SPA 7 Child Abuse Prevention Council co-hosted a Youth Conference for 9th and 10th graders across South El Monte, El Monte, El Rancho, Whittier, and Norwalk. Focused on healthy relationships, communication skills, social-emotional competence, and technology.
School districts coordinated transportation, plus breakfast, snacks, and lunch were provided.
The Child Abuse Council Chairs’ Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Please contact the Council Coordinator, Sara La Croix, at saralacroix@all4kids.org for more information.
